Sekhmet Retreat Center:

A quiet sanctuary for deep rest, somatic unwinding, and soul renewal.

8 to 10 Retreat Guests & Solo Guests

Located on Egypt’s West Bank.

Hidden among date palms and ancient desert breezes, Sekhmet Retreat Center is a peaceful oasis designed for travelers, healers, and retreat leaders who value privacy, quiet, and genuine restoration.

Located just minutes from the temples of Medinat Habu and the Valley of the Kings, this earth-toned domed sanctuary offers a rare combination of ancient energy and true solitude — ideal for those seeking deep nervous system repair, personal transformation, or small-group spiritual work.

Unlike crowded retreats, shared dorms, or hectic schedules, Sekhmet Retreat Center was created for those who need space.

  • Space to rest.

  • Space to breathe.

  • Space to heal.

A New Kind of Retreat Space

Sekhmet Retreat Center was built for travelers who don’t want chaos, shared bunk rooms, loud groups, or jam-packed itineraries.

It’s for the woman traveling solo. For the person healing quietly. For the adult who has lived a full life and now feels ready to be held by stillness. For the practitioner who wants presence, not pressure.

It is a space designed for actual healing, not crowd management.

THE RED TENT

Where women return to themselves, their cycles, and their ancestral knowing.

Nestled in the quiet beauty of Luxor’s West Bank, the Red Tent at Sekhmet Retreat Center is a sanctuary woven from Bedouin tradition, timeless feminine wisdom, and the healing power of stillness. Three authentic Bedouin tents rest on the grounds, offering a safe, sacred, womb-like space designed for:

Stepping inside the Red Tent is like entering another realm.

The energy softens.
Time slows.
The outer world dissolves.

The space is intentionally dim, grounding, and deeply feminine — a place where one can exhale, cry, unravel, remember, and be witnessed without judgment.

The Bedouin fabrics drape like protective walls, creating an intimate cocoon that encourages release, connection, and feminine regeneration. Cushions, blankets, and circular seating create a feeling of equality and shared presence.

This is not a workshop space.
It is not a classroom.
It is a sanctuary for the women who are ready to come home to themselves.

Whether used for Red Tent ceremonies, womb clearing rituals, New Moon gatherings, or quiet personal reflection, this space is the heart of the retreat center — a temple of softness and truth where transformation unfolds gently and naturally.

Features include:

  • Women’s circles

  • Somatic release

  • Shadow and inner child work

  • Nervous system restoration

  • Sisterhood gatherings

  • Storytelling and journaling

  • Breathwork or meditation

  • Moon ceremonies

  • Grief circles

  • Ancestral healing

  • Outdoor pool and sun terrace

  • Shaded lounge areas

  • Traditional Egyptian benches and cushions

  • Hand-crafted statues and lanterns
